I wouldn't mind sending a few people to the moon myself. ;)

But in all seriousness, the way I see it, if you're a proponent of using increased government spending to spur economic growth, then this isn't a bad idea. The space program certainly creates a lot of jobs and leads to innovation. The same can be said for a war, but isn't sending some people to the moon a much better idea than invading another country? The cost of human life would certainly be a lot less.

Gotta watch out for the bears
